Discover Your Next Canadian Adventure

Canada offers everything from rugged mountains and whale-filled coastlines to charming French-speaking towns and dramatic ocean landscapes. Explore five distinct regions and discover which destination belongs at the top of your travel wish list.

Admit it—you’ve always been curious about traveling north of the border to meet your friendly neighbors, hear the accent and perhaps even taste some ketchup chips (yes, it’s a thing!). But Canada is huge! How do you decide where to go? To help you out, here is a quick guide to pinpoint which of our five Canadian regions would be best for you and your family.

Vancouver & Gulf Islands

Are you looking for a region filled with hidden gems? Look no further. British Columbia is to Canada what California is to the United States. A province home to tall forests, a long and beautiful coast and—the best part—fun and creative locals. Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands boast diverse fauna and flora, exquisite cuisine and dramatic views. Come island hop in this pristine corner of Canada to connect with nature and truly recharge your batteries. On these trips, you’ll never be too far from the sea and, if you’re lucky, you may even spot several species of whales like orcas or humpbacks. End each day with a gorgeous sunset, a glass of local wine and your thirst for adventure quenched. You know what they say: West coast, best coast! Come see for yourself on our Multi-Adventure or Biking Tours.

Canadian Rockies

The mountains are calling, and you really should pick up. Whether you’re most excited to spot wildlife (think moose, elk, bighorn sheep, mountain goats), admire rugged mountain peaks, glaciers and rushing rivers or bask in lush forests, the Canadian Rockies have it all. We’ll bring you to the sites you have been dreaming of—Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper—plus you’ll discover lakes and valleys you may have never heard of but won’t soon forget.

This region is one large playground, perfect for big adventures. Our summer season may be short in the Canadian Rockies, but it’s full-on. With more than a dozen different summer itineraries, we’ve got a trip for you, from Families with Kids & Teens to a new Women’s Dolce Tempo. We even offer a complete immersion into a real Canadian winter on our one and only Canadian Snow Adventure!

Summer or Winter in the Canadian Rockies

Québec

Journey along the St. Lawrence River, stop by the Montmorency Falls—taller than Niagara Falls!—enjoy the European charm of Québec City or discover the picturesque Eastern Townships. With French as its official language, Québec is sure to make you feel disoriented, in the best way—a little slice of Europe right here in North America. Say oui to stepping out of your comfort zone, learning everything there is to know about maple syrup and trying the infamous poutine. This region is growing in popularity, and we are excited to offer you Hiking & Walking, Biking and Multi-Adventure Trips. Take your pick!

Visit Québec

Nova Scotia

This province has a sense of quirkiness that will speak to your inner child. From admiring Lunenburg’s colorful houses to dipping your feet in the water, from tasting the local wine to smelling the salty coastal air and hearing local folk music, all your senses will be tickled. On any of our Nova Scotia trips, you are sure of a few things: to smile a lot, to learn something new, and to enjoy life! Hearing the stories of the First Nations and the Acadians that have been living here for centuries, as well as learning about the highest tides in the world in the Bay of Fundy, you’ll leave feeling deeply connected to the land and its people.

Personally, this is my favorite region. Having grown up on the coast of New Brunswick, the adjacent province, Nova Scotia reminds me of all the best things from home: the seafood (one can never eat too many lobster rolls), the salty air, the hundreds of hidden beaches and coves, the laid-back locals and a casual rhythm of life that encourages you to live in the present moment. Select your pace, whether Hiking & Walking, Biking or Dolce Tempo, but make sure to add this gem to your travel bucket list.

Discover Quirky Nova Scotia

Newfoundland

For this region, no need to overthink it. One single trip highlights what you need to see in this remote part of Canada. Our Newfoundland Hiking & Walking Trip is a favorite among guests—and leaders! Escape to the easternmost province of Canada and marvel at this mysterious island at the edge of the continent. Sunshine, rain, wind or fog—each element creates a unique experience that is meant to be. Allow yourself to contemplate the vastness of the Atlantic Ocean at your doorstep throughout the week and make sure to wake up early for at least one sunrise over the vast ocean. It’s the perfect place to get lost in your thoughts on beautiful hiking trails and to stop and smell the flowers—literally and metaphorically. Before booking, we must warn you of one thing: side effects of this trip include seriously considering moving to Newfoundland. Yes, it’s that special.
