An Amazing trip through Vermont
The hotels were as amazing as the scenery, beautiful country roads, rail to trail paths and the picturesque small towns. Our group leaders, Emily, Camille, Sarah and Hannah made the trip unforgettable. We will be booking our 7th trip shortly.

Backroads - the Ultimate Active Vacations
Biking from Vermont to Quebec was our second Backroads adventure and it did not disappoint. If you enjoy being challenged physically while surrounded by nature's beauty, they serve it up right. From the trip leaders, the meals, the bikes, the accommodations, the cultural experiences and the camaraderie... it's the ultimate active vacation.
Best way to feel young again....ride bikes with friends
Biking up Vermont, across the boarder into Canada was a real accomplishment! Our group of strangers quickly became a Backroads Tribe. (Everyone turns into 10 year olds when the opportunity to ride bikes every day is the plan. ) Snack bags, picnic lunches along a beautiful river, lovely rooms, great dinners and cocktails all add to the charm and specialness that Backroads offers. Our leaders were knowledgeable, cheerful and extremely helpful. The Backrounds app and the WaHoo bike navigation system were first class technology that made me feel confident every time I biked. We already signed up for our next Backroads trip!
Northeastern Beauty
The trip was a beautiful summer tour of quiet backcountry roads of Vermont and Quebec, wonderful food (and breweries), and a highlight stay and the luxurious Manoir Hovey in Quebec. Our leaders were very accommodating, even after record rainfall in the area. A great trip for those who want a bit of a challenge (some great climbs were available), want some New England beauty, or just want to be pampered at our accommodations.

As always, wonderful trip leaders and stunning accomodations
My 28 YO daughter and I were both extremely happy with our latest Backroads biking trip. She is on a bike racing team in DC, and so wanted to get every last (and fast) mile in...and to climb as many hills and peaks as possible. Our leaders made sure that happened. I wanted to ride 50miles or so a day on the regular route and that took place, too. I can't emphasize enough what a difference the leaders make to each BR trip. They constantly and consistently strive to accomodate everyone's wishes..so the trip becomes one's own personal adventure. Kudos to Abby, Sydney and Hannah for a job well done! Also, our accommodations were beautiful and our meals well prepared. Backroads..another home run week...many thanks!
The beauty of Vermont was far beyond what we had expected.
The rides were the most beautiful we have seen, on an ongoing basis. Just mile after mile of spectacular views, countryside, farms, etc. Our leaders were friendly, accommodating, and made it all just easy and fun. We could not have had a better vacation.
Camp backroads friends are the best
This is our second trip on backroads . We met three other couples on out first trip and we traveled together as a private group for our second trip and are working on our next trip ,
