New this year: Our trips for Families with 20s & Beyond are combining with Teens & 20s, opening up an even greater selection of dates and adventures for you and your family.

Families with Kids & Teens

For ages: 7–17 (4+ welcome)

Designed for families with kids and teens, these trips make it easy for everyone to enjoy the adventure—from grade-schoolers to grandparents. Kids dive into activities like horseback riding, rock climbing and more with a dedicated Kids Adventure Leader, while adults enjoy time to explore and connect at their own pace. Together, you’ll hike, bike, swim and play, sharing moments that matter.

What ages are trips for Families with Teens & 20s designed for?

Trips for Families with Teens & 20s are designed for families traveling with older teens and adult children—from high schoolers and college students to adult children in their 20s and beyond. Most trips are best for ages 16+ (with siblings 14+ welcome).

Will there be other families with older teens and adult children on my trip?

Yes. You'll be traveling with other families in a similar stage of life, creating a fun group dynamic and plenty of opportunities to connect with both family and fellow travelers.

Are trips for Families with Teens & 20s a good fit if my family members have different activity levels?

Absolutely. Everyone can choose the activity level that's right for them each day, with a variety of route options designed for different interests and abilities. Whether your family prefers to stay together or split up during the day, you'll come back together to share the experience.

Can older teens or adult children have their own room?

Yes. Many families choose to give older teens or adult children their own room when available. Guests must be at least 16 years old to occupy their own room, and private room availability varies by trip.

Our family previously traveled on a trip for Families with 20s & Beyond. Which trips should we consider now?

Families who loved our 20s & Beyond trips will feel right at home on a trip for Families with Teens & 20s. Families with adult children (ages 18+) are also welcome on trips designed for Couples, Friends & Solos, especially if their adult children prefer traveling as peers with other adults.
