Lauren is from Robinson, Illinois and went to school at the University of Kentucky where she earned a degree in biology. Science and conservation are two things she’s passionate about. Before Backroads, she volunteered with the Frost Science Museum in Miami, Florida and participated in regular beach clean ups. She’s always found enjoyment in being outdoors. In her off seasons, she spends her time working and skiing in Telluride, Colorado.
