As our first Backroads experience, this trip set the bar high! Mallorca had breathtaking views and challenging rides. The "little sister" island of Menorca, although quieter, was equally beautiful and full of surprises. I was thankful to experience the contrasts of those two regions. The islands, the rides, the vistas, the hotels, the food & wine were all exceptional. But what I did not expect was how much fun we would have with our guides. The conversations we shared and the laughs we had are going to be some of my favorite memories from this trip.

This was our second Backroads trip and i thought nothing could top our time in Portugal (Alentejo and Algarve). While Mallorca and Menorca are stunningly gorgeous, the rides challenging and so so fun ( we used e bikes) and the hotels luxurious, this experience was about the people. Our leaders were exceptional. We felt safe, pampered and encouraged to make this trip what WE wanted-plenty of time to stop and take pictures or just stare at the scenery. We were lucky enough to travel with 15 incredible people (none of whom we knew ) and that human connection made this trip an over the top life experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My wife and I loved this trip! The scenery in Mallorca and Menorca is spectacular, and our leaders (Ben and Max) were great. The riding was challenging but very rewarding, and the many route options offered something for everyone. The ride to the Cap de Formentor easily ranks as one of the best rides I've ever done.

Getting the opportunity to bike so much of 2 islands was just extraordinary. The daily bike trails were easy to navigate, a mix of tough climbs and flat beautiful roads. I went in basically as a novice biker—but the guides were so supportive and the well-made e-bike was a dream to ride. I felt safe, was able to get through every day with a workout and pedal assist if I needed it. It's a must do on your list!

Move this trip up one week into May. Hotels, food and beverage top notch. Teams knowledge of the places and history enhanced the trip. Food tasting, Olive oil and wine tasting added to the places and history. Would like to do another trip with the,same team with our same group of friends. Most comeraderie of our three BR trips to date. Jerry Matt

Every trip has been our favorite trip for different reasons, but our excellent guides (one for the 2nd time!!) were the icing on the cake of fabulous bike routes, scenery, food and accommodations! Our guides even had our ride up the Formentor timed so that we had almost no cars or buses! So much fun being with all the cyclists1

It's easy to see why so many people we meet on Backroads trips are return guests … this company is fantastic! Our trip leaders were on top of every detail, fun, full of great information about the area, and wonderful to be with. The hotels were superb, as was the food. The routes we rode were scenic and fun, and we saw some amazing coastline as well as charming little villages and beautiful countryside. The other guests were fun and interesting people, and we had a great time with them.

Perfection is a high standard! This trip was it. First of all, the islands of Mallorca and Menorca are stunning, and surprisingly varied in their terrain and eco systems. Secondly, the BR team leaders and all the arrangements were without flaw. I'm hard pressed to give improvement suggestions. The accommodations were absolutely wonderful, along with the food, and the variety of locales for lunches, dinner, and "surprise" outings. The bicycle riding and support was outstanding regardless of the experience level of the riders. Finally, we really bonded with our group of 18, as well as our three leaders. Can't wait to do our second BR trip!

Every day exceeded our expectations - with the leaders of backroads, to the organization of the itineraries and the beautiful accommodations. Excellent in every way!
