Route notes

While Backroads strives to find routes that are quiet and off the beaten track, in the Finger Lakes we sometimes have to bike on busier sections of road to reach the best riding. Most of these roads have a wide shoulder to accommodate cyclists and car traffic. Of course, on certain routes you’re welcome to jump in the shuttle to avoid the busier stretches.
