Days 1-2
Visit the winery of Joseph Perrier for a tour of their three-mile-long underground cellar and a tasting of one of their exquisite champagnes • Famed vineyards provide an idyllic backdrop as you e-bike along car-free paths in the World Heritage landscape of the Coteaux de Champagne • Visit Abbaye d’Hautvillers and the final resting place of Dom Pierre Pérignon who, upon inventing champagne, is said to have cried to his fellow monks, “Come quickly! I am tasting the stars!” • The splendid properties of négociants (wine merchants) line Épernay’s prestigious Avenue de Champagne before an exclusive cellar tour and gastronomic dinner at the world renowned Moët & Chandon Champagne House.
