This year marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy, pivotal moments when allied forces liberated occupied France and ultimately brought an end to World War II. As a Backroads Trip Leader in Brittany & Normandy, I’ve witnessed first hand the profound impact of revisiting this history and the sense of pride and hope it instills.

While Mallorca is well-known as a world-class cycling destination, its plentiful hiking trails with stunning ocean vistas and dramatic mountains deserve equal attention. One of the things that I like about hiking is that you don’t need to be doing the “best” hike in the world to be having a good time. You get to be out in nature with people you care about, enjoying any one of the varied landscapes our planet has to offer.
