Born and raised in the magical region of the Basque Country, in the north of Spain, Sofia joined Backroads as a trip leader in 2023 after working for a few years as an immigration lawyer in different parts of the world. She has led trips in Mallorca, Basque Country, Netherlands, Belgium and Portugal. In addition to leading trips with Backroads , Sofia loves surfing, photography and journaling among others. Her never-ending curiosity makes her extremely passionate about documenting the stories of people all around the world.
