Josh Cutler

Born and raised in East Africa alongside three brothers, to an American father and British mum, Josh grew up in a whirlwind of cultural mashups, sibling mischief and adventure, endless curiosity and laughter. A sailor at heart, he eventually washed up on Backroads’ shores. Since then, he’s shared adventures, stories and many a dance party with friends from Norway to Sicily, Belize to Vietnam, and Morocco to South Africa.

These days, he’s working on staying a bit more grounded—living in the present and savoring the simple, yet profound, relationships he’s been lucky enough to forge and share across the globe. Whether it’s a sunrise ski tour with a new friend, a sunset sail with old ones or just enjoying a morning coffee on the balcony, he tries to soak up every moment.
