Daniele is a Trip Leader from Sardinia, Italy, with a strong interest in history and culture. He graduated with a degree in Sociology from the University of Turin and later completed a Master’s in Journalism in Belgium, where he fell in love with writing and storytelling.

Alongside his academic path, he has always been drawn to outdoor sports and active travel. In 2024, he decided to turn this passion into a career by joining Backroads.  

Today, Daniele leads trips across Italy, with a focus on Tuscany, Sicily and the Dolomites, combining his love for the outdoors with his interest in people, places and the stories that connect them.
