Growing up between Nazaré, Portugal and San Francisco, California, Daniela blended her love of ocean conservation with a multicultural outlook. She now leads Backroads trips in Wyoming, Montana and Portugal. When she’s not leading, you’ll find her trail running, surfing or chasing her next story. With a background in conservation and journalism, Daniela brings a storyteller’s eye and an environmentalist’s heart, helping guests connect deeply with the landscapes and cultures they explore.
