Historic, Picturesque & Unique Hotels of Norway
In my mind, before I started leading Backroads trips in Norway, this part of the world was all about the glistening fjords, glacier-capped mountains, quiet forests, rustic fishing villages and quaint farmsteads. Will all hotels on a trip be in the same category?
Most hotels on your Backroads trip will be in the same category, though some itineraries may include a mix when a particular property offers the best experience in a specific location.

Yes. Casual Hotels offer a high-quality experience in a more relaxed setting. They are selected to meet Backroads’ high standards for comfort and hospitality. They may offer fewer amenities and are chosen for their unique location, history or access to unforgettable experiences.
