Description

Admire local and international art at the Southern Vermont Arts Center • Explore the historic village of Manchester, with its stately homes and manicured lawns • Walk through a fern-laced hardwood forest below Mount Equinox and into the 900-acre Equinox Preserve, teeming with rare plants and diverse wildlife • Taste maple syrup and learn the fine art of sugar-making at Havoc Hill Sugar House • Hike the trails of Vermont’s Merck Forest & Farmland Center, winding through beautiful woodland to Clark’s Clearing and its rustic cabin, or summit Mount Antone for breathtaking views of Haystack Mountain and the Battenkill Valley.
