Welcome to Scotland, a hiker's paradise! | Walk through the wild and remote West Highlands in stunning Shieldaig, a place of almost mythical proportions | Wild pines and the blue waters of Loch Torridon come into view | Hike up a mountain glen to spot the hidden lake behind the famous massif Beinn Eighe | Take some time to explore our castle hotel's 58 acres of pristine parkland.

Route notes

The terrain on this trip is mostly rolling, with some moderate and occasionally steep ascents and descents. Many of our hikes are on uneven narrow and rocky trails and dirt paths that can be wet, muddy and boggy. We also traverse some steep mountain paths with rocky outcrops. Please note that on several sections of our hikes the van will be unable to intersect the route.
