Every Backroads trip is designed to appeal to a wide variety of interests and fitness levels. Several routes and a range of levels are offered each day so you can choose how much or how little activity you want to do. Learn more about how we determine activity levels.

Route notes

The terrain we encounter on this trip ranges from rolling hills to steep, long climbs. The hiking trails are often very uneven and covered with roots, mud, rocks and other obstacles. The trails are rarely “manicured” and most medium or long options do not have level terrain. Many of the trails provide limited even footing. Please note that unpredictable mountain weather and steep terrain can make hiking conditions more challenging than the mileage suggests.
