Awesome trip! Great introduction to Backroads!
The Sedona Backroads trip was so much fun. The guides had so much positive energy and were super accommodating. The small size of the group made it possible to get to know your fellow travelers and despite a wide range of ages, we all gelled nicely. The hikes were fun and could be made more challenging *if* you wanted to. The food and the settings for meals were creative and enjoyable. The accommodations were really nice and centrally located to minimize travel times to hikes. The Backroads team was always prepared for any eventuality which made the trip a no-stress vacation! The "route rap" talks on what to expect for the daily hikes were such creative ways to let us know the highlights of the hikes. Looking forward to our next Backroads adventure.

The most amazing trip!
This was the best experience of walking/hiking in Sedona. Our leaders are very knowledgeable, professional and the kindest people you will ever come across.
Amazing Backroads trip to Sedona!
This was my first Backroads trip and I plan to go on another. The enthusiastic leaders, abundant and delicious food, numerous hiking options on each day, and the people I met and became friends with were all part of this unforgettable experience.

Great Active Adventure in Sedona!!
Had a great experience on the Sedona Backroads adventure. The hiking was tailored to whatever pace and effort you choose. You are rewarded with spectacular views. The leaders ensured you had a great experience by their hospitality, conversations and flexibility to accommodate the groups' needs. The hikes and venues were always an educational experience where you learned about the Sedona. Definitely worthwhile and now looking forward to another Backroads excursion.

Great hikes and great guides!
My sister and I planned the trip to celebrate my 65th birthday. We had an absolute blast. The guides (Lindsey, Kelly and Andrew) were spectacular - all very knowledgeable, helpful, encouraging and fun! The hikes were spectacular, food delicious and accommodations nice. We were in a group of 20 and enjoyed them all. I can't wait to go on another BackRoads trip!

First Backroads trip in the books and won't be our last!
The trip was a beautiful way to experience Sedona. Great hiking and great food. Our leaders, Sophie and Leni along with Cara as support were fun and knowledgeable. Their combined teamwork made for such an enjoyable experience.

Amazing trip
I had a great time- the trip exceeded my expectations. Sedona was beautiful, the guides were AMAZING, food was fantastic, and everyone in my group was really friendly (I went solo). We've talked about taking other Backroads trips together!
Amazing experience - Hiking - Views - New Friends - Food
The entire experience was top notch and I would highly recommend. New experiences every day from the hikes which we had a choice of depending on difficulty and length and what we wanted to experience, to delicious food, to meeting a great new group of friends, to appreciating the knowledge and commitment of our Backroads leaders - Andrew, Cole and Ross. It was a 5⭐️ + experience all around. This was my first Backroads trip so I wasn't sure what to expect, but it surely will not be my last, I'm already looking at where I want to go next!
Backroads is the best
This trip absolutely exceeded our expectations. There were hikes for each skill level and outstanding food, from the hiking snacks to the fabulous restaurant dinners. The guides could not have been more helpful and kind. If you haven't been to beautiful Sedona, going with Backroads is the way to do it. It was our first Backroads trip and definitely not our last!

Beautiful hike amongst the Redrocks
Hiking in Sedona is always stunning. The red rocks are simply amazing. Our hotel looked out over coffee pot rock and had a lovely patio for watching the sun set over the red rocks each day. Hotel is casual, so nothing super fancy, but that is what we like, great location with beautiful views. Hikes were good each many mileage options to fit everyone's needs. What makes backroads trips great, in my opinion, are the guides. This was our 7th trip and the guides were amazing once again. We always love talking with and getting to know the guides on all of our trips. They were great.
