Fantastic Tas!

Tasmania is an incredible, pristine, stunning natural beauty … the food and wine was terrific … and our guides Ruby and Darren, and support guys Corey and Lucas, made our trip amazing. Slam dunk A+ recommendation!

I'm in love with Tassie

Backroads, as always, outdid itself when planning this multi-adventure trip. The 4 stops were each spectacular in their own way - from Cradle Mountain NP's beautiful mountains and abundant wildlife (wallabies, platypus, wombats, padymelons, echidnas,….), to Lake St. Clair's tree-lined coastline and pretty trails, to the stunning combination of mountains and ocean at Freycinet NP, to charming Hobart, the locations were varied and lovely. The people of Tasmania (including our 3 local guides) are friendly and helpful, and our two Backroad's guides, Ruby and Virginia, were outstanding. What a wonderful way to experience a small and fairly isolated island off of a massive country. It was the perfect complement to the rest of our Australian travels. Highly recommend!!

Exceptional trip

From Montana

I have traveled the world and this is one of the best trips of my life. The hikes, lodging, food and extraordinary landscapes and wildlife make this adventure one in a million. Marco and Ruby may have been our leaders but they were really part of our group - smart, funny, and insightful. I would do it all over again tomorrow. Tasmania will steal your heart.

Amazing!

From Bozeman, Montana

This was a fabulous experience with wallabies, echidnas, Tasmanian devils, great food, some dramatic and beautiful weather, fabulous vistas, hiking, biking, national parks, vineyards, and a windy kayak experience. Our group was a wonderful mix, and our leaders, Marco and Ruby, were outstanding. Besides being knowledgable, they were fun, funny, always had a back up plan to support the activities, and they had great snacks. Launceston and Hobart are both great, but Hobart......I could move there. I highly recommend extra days in Hobart. There are many excursions and tons of history.
