Nights 2-3
Catch stunning views of Eiger's north face from this luxurious chalet-style hotel. (pool, spa)
Days 4-6
Behold the triple peaks of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau as you walk a narrow ridge trail between the Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen Valleys • E-bike through Meiringen Valley, whose spun-sugar peaks are rumored to have inspired the invention of the meringue • Cross the lake of Brienz by historic steamboat for a dramatic arrival to our turreted grande dame hotel • Traverse a bridge behind the thundering curtain of the Giessbach Falls and take a farewell stroll through the peaceful forest surrounding our abode.

We want to make sure you're on the trip that's right for you. Every Backroads trip is unique and this one is no exception.
For the best riding in Switzerland, we've chosen a combination of small quiet roads and some unpaved bike paths with short stretches of limited van support. Our bikes are equipped with slightly wider tires to accommodate the path and trail surfaces. There are also some sections of urban cycling on busier roads at the end of most rides; you can always hop in the shuttle to skip these.
While the hotels on this trip offer outstanding service and amenities, please note that they are not equipped with air-conditioning and guest rooms can occasionally become warm during peak temperatures.
