Description

Journey by train from Tokyo into the mountains of Nikko • Cedar forests and crisp alpine air set the tone for the journey ahead • Forest bathe along wooded paths past the iconic Shinkyo Bridge • Explore the ornate Toshogu Shrine, with its gold-leaf details and intricate carvings • Follow a tranquil trail along the Kanmangafuchi Abyss • Soak in rejuvenating onsen at our traditional hot spring retreat • Journey into the highlands surrounding Lake Chuzenji • Hike to Ryuzu Falls, its cascading waters framed by seasonal color • Cross the sweeping Senjogahara Plateau, a vast marsh alive with birdlife and delicate alpine flora.
