Incredible trip!
Croatia is beautiful! And our Backroads leaders only added to the amazing experience. Everything from knowledge about local history, keeping us save on the roads and water, and sharing the delicious meals with us made this such a memorable trip. Thank you Backroads for giving us such special memories!
Couldn't have asked for a better experience!
The overall experience was outstanding! Our leaders were knowledgeable and thoughtful (e.g., going out of their way to recognize our wedding anniversary and a brother's birthday, in memorable, fun, and enjoyable ways). We highly recommend this trip!
trip of a lifetime
This trip was amazing and far exceeded our expectations. Absolutely every thing on this trip was taken care of. Our guides were fantastic-energetic, knowledgeable, friendly. All the transfers went smoothly. The food was fabulous and plentiful. This was our first Backroads trip but definitely not our last!
Excellent Outdoor Adventure Trip
This was our first trip with Backroads. It was a fabulous trip from start to finish. Our guides Markie & Michelle did a great job of welcoming us and getting us ready for our biking experiences right at the start. They showed everyone how to handle their bikes which were equipped with GPS maps. I loved that we could all ride at our own pace and meet up with our "pit" crew Chase and Megan along the way to have snacks or if we had questions. The hotel's were all very nice, clean, friendly. The included breakfasts were excellent. The meals we had at family homes were amazing. It was liking eating at one of fairytale places in a fancy magazine. The hosts were very welcoming. Delicious wine and Grappa were always available! My group is already planning our next Backroads adventure!

Trip of a Lifetime
Incredible biking and scenery, top notch and friendly leaders, excellent meals, and the group of travelers really became good friends and had lots of laughs and good fun! We have been wanting to do a Backroads trip for years and the Croatia trip will be a hard one to beat! Can't wait to do another one!
Best Backroads trip so far!
Croatia multisport with an e-bike is the way to go! This trip is packed with diverse experiences as well as enough downtime to relax and unwind. The accommodations and meals were excellent and the transfers from location to location and between the various activities were seamless. My previous backroads trip was all biking and I really enjoyed the swimming opportunities and boat transfers. The Adriatic is beautiful to look at but is even more wonderful to swim in. This was also my first trip with an ebike and it was a godsend on the climbs and the hot weather. (You always have the option to not use the e- assist at all if you are worried about the need for a calorie burn). The e-bike allows you to have the e-nergy to e-xperience e-verything you want... LOLz. Travel tips: Bring a hat, UPF clothing if you go during July/August. And definitely pack a swimsuit- you won't want to miss sea and pool time. Oh, and bring your appetite. This was also quite the food experience as well! Shout out to our guides Dave, Maria and backstage support guide Rudy.

Our trip was beyond perfect, No stone left unturned.
The trip leaders, Vele, Holly and Ruut were beyond accompanying. That made sure that everything ran smoothly and that we needed wanted nothing. The expertise in the area, on the bikes, hikes and kayaking were so helpful. There was never a point where we didn't know what to expect, they laid it out very clear. We just experience a trip of a lifetime and cannot wait for our next adventure with Backroads!!

This was our first trip. It far exceeded our expectations
The activities, leaders, accommodations, logistics etc were awesome! Good communication, friendly and energetic leaders, many special touches.
Beyond Perfection on the Croatian Dalmatian coast
Seamless planning and execution by energetic, friendly leaders. Humor used several times a day! Food served at private restaurants with jaw dropping settings. Go and you'll never be the same.

Fantastic first Backroads experience!
Loved the variety of activities the multi-adventure format offered. Leaders were quick to individualize activities to accommodate guests' needs. Meals were regional, healthy, delicious, and plentiful. The history tutorials enriched the cultural experience, and the interaction with other guests far exceeded expectations.
