Day 1
Ride along the scenic shores of Lake Champlain • Cycle the Colchester Causeway, a breathtaking trail that skims the surface of the lake with Adirondack views on all sides • Pedal quiet island roads through apple orchards and farmland • Be refreshed with a picturesque vineyard lunch and tasting at a local farm • Rest at a warm and stylish boutique hotel that reflects the region’s outdoorsy culture.

Days 2-3
Set off along the Island Line Trail, a former rail route with sweeping views of Lake Champlain • Cruise through Burlington’s lively waterfront and into the rolling farmland of Shelburne County • Pass scenic silos, lake vistas and classic white cottages as you make your way south • Pedal into the pastoral beauty of Addison County, a place where orchards and hayfields dot the rolling Vermont landscape • Ride along Lake Champlain’s quiet eastern shore, with Adirondack peaks rising across the water • Arrive in historic Middlebury and pause to admire Otter Creek Falls as they tumble through the town center • Pass over Pulp Mill Covered Bridge, one of the oldest covered bridges in the country • Enjoy relaxing evenings by the water at our harborside retreat.
