Itinerary
Days 1-2
Touch down in classic Cape Cod and pedal into the heart of the peninsula on the famed Cape Cod Rail Trail • Cruise past salt marshes and pine forests on smooth, car-free paths • Bike across the Cape to its quieter northern shore where tidal flats stretch to the horizon • Wander the beaches of Harwich and explore tide pools teeming with sea life • Return to the coast to unwind, perhaps with a dip in the Atlantic or a barefoot beach stroll.

Ride along the arc of Outer Cape toward Provincetown • Pass the fish pier and iconic lighthouse of Chatham, then cruise through artful Wellfleet • Arrive in Provincetown, vibrant with its galleries and boutique shops • Pedal along Cape Cod’s eastern fringe • Ride past glacial ponds and pine groves on meandering lanes carved by time • Kids join up with their Adventure Leader for an afternoon of adventure in Provincetown • Adults Stop at a local vineyard and sip varietals • Glimpse Truro’s Highland Light, the oldest and tallest lighthouse on Cape Cod • Break for a refreshing dip in the Atlantic • Ride a coastal loop through sand dunes and pines • Take a guided walking tour of Provincetown, exploring its vibrant arts community, bustling shops, and rich history • Ascend Pilgrim Monument, which commemorates the first landing of the Mayflower Pilgrims in Provincetown in 1620, and at the top drink in panoramic views over Provincetown Harbor and the curve of the Cape.
