FAQs

I've never traveled with an organized group before. What can I expect?: Our type of group travel is very different than most thanks to an incredible level of personalized support with multiple vans and Trip Leaders. Our trips offer tremendous freedom and are thoughtfully tailored to give you the flexibility to discover the world on your own terms, with as much or as little camaraderie as you wish. The result is an adventure that feels like it was designed just for you—because it was.
How big are the groups?: In general, our Hiking & Walking trips are limited to 20 guests, Biking and Multi-Adventure trips typically have no more than 26 guests and Active Cruises have a maximum of 30 guests. Our Full Ship Celebrations can host up to 100 guests or so.
Will I have time to explore on my own?: Yes. Our itineraries include thoughtfully planned activities and plenty of flexibility. You're welcome to stick with the group and free to enjoy moments of solo exploration.
What's the group dynamic like?: Our small group size brings together travelers of all backgrounds who share a love of active discovery.
Will I feel comfortable joining as a solo traveler?: Absolutely. Many of our guests arrive solo, and our Trip Leaders are experts at creating a relaxed, inclusive environment for everyone right from the start.
