Backroads Gift Certificates
A Backroads gift card opens access to iconic bike rides, stunning hikes, immersive cultural experiences, and luxury hotel stays around the world. With trips for families, couples, solo travelers, and private groups, the only decision left is where to begin.
How it Works
- Make sure to have both the mailing address and email address of the recipient ready. (You can opt to have the card emailed to them or sent directly to you, but you’ll need to provide their email address either way.)
- Call 800-462-2848 during our regular business hours, 7am-5pm PT Mon-Fri and 7am-3pm PT weekends. Our Trip Consultants will help you with the details and send the certificate.
- The recipient will receive the card within approx. 3-5 days, along with our most recent Backroads catalog. They can also explore destinations and dates online.
- With a quick call to our Trip Consultants, the recipient can turn their choice into a fully booked adventure.

- How does the recipient redeem their gift card?
They can call 800-462-2848 during our regular business hours, 7am-5pm PT Mon-Fri and 7am-3pm PT weekends, and speak to any one of our friendly Backroads Trip Consultants, who are ready to help them with every detail. (Instructions will be included with their certificate.)
- Can they share their gift card with someone else?
The card can be used toward the trip of their choice. Credit may also be shared by, or transferred to reservations for, family or friends.
- What if there is credit left over, after they pay for their trip?
Any unused credit remains on the account under the recipient’s name, to be used for a future Backroads trip.
- Does the gift card expire?
There is no expiration date.
