Trip Cancellation coverage takes effect at 12:01 a.m. on the day following your purchase of the insurance and automatically ends at 12:01 a.m. on the first day of your scheduled Backroads trip or on the date and time you cancel your trip. Trip Interruption and Missed Connection coverages begin when you depart on your first scheduled Backroads travel arrangement (i.e. Day 1 of your Backroads trip). All other coverages begin at 12:01 a.m. on the departure date of your scheduled Backroads trip.
All other coverages automatically end upon the earlier of:
• The date the trip is completed
• The scheduled return date
• Your arrival at the return destination on a round-trip, or the destination on a one-way trip
• Cancellation of the Trip covered by the policy
• The expiration date of the policy
