In most cases, yes, just like we would at a hotel. While cruising, we make good use of each ship’s common space. Once on shore, Backroads breaks completely away, leaving the standard bus tour/group shore excursion behind so you’re free to explore away from the crowds.
If you prefer to share the experience solely with Backroads fellow travelers, our Full Ship Celebration trips are exclusive festivities of epic proportions. On these trips, we’ve booked the entire ship for a special sailing of a hundred or so other Backroads guests.
