Booking & Managing Client Reservations Online: A Guide for Travel Advisors

Designed exclusively for Travel Advisors, updated functionality allows you to book clients directly online and efficiently manage their reservations. This streamlined feature is aimed at enhancing your workflow and providing a seamless booking experience for you and, most importantly, for your clients. Take a look at these quick steps for making a new reservation and for managing an existing one:

Making a New Client Reservation on backroads.com

  • Find the Backroads trip you want to book online.
  • Enter the number of Guests & Rooms desired.
  • Log in to your Backroads Account. Need to reset your password? Request a new one by selecting ‘Forgot password?’ 
  • Click on Booking a Client or indicate if it’s a personal reservation.  
  • If booking a client, confirm whether your client is a new or returning Backroads guest.  
  • Complete all required traveler details. Full name, email and mailing address and date of birth for all travelers are required for online booking.
  • Add Travel Protection (optional but always recommended). 
  • Enter payment information and submit. Select the Backroads Trip Consultant you worked with if applicable. 
  • That’s it! Your clients are booked.  

Managing Client Reservations Online via Your Backroads Account 

  • Log into your Backroads Account using your Travel Advisor email. Need to reset your password? Request a new one by selecting ‘Forgot password?’ 
  • Complete all required pre-trip checklist items on behalf of your clients including completing payments.* 

*Please note that we’ll still need clients to sign waivers directly.
