Born and raised in Spokane, Washington Mary has had a lifelong love of lakes and mountains due to their accessibility in Northern Idaho. After finishing her degree in Finance at Santa Clara University she has been on the road. Mary studied abroad in Florence, Italy for a year and this sparked her interest in Italian culture & language and motivated her to find any way back. If she is not found in Italy working summer camps, visiting old friends, or working in one of Backroads many beautiful Italian regions she can be found cycle touring through other countries or skiing in the winter.
