Berkeley, CA
– Backroads, the leader in active travel, today announced the launch of five new premiere and unique North American adventure tours to destinations across the US and Canada. The new itineraries – in Newfoundland, Vancouver Island, the Canadian Rockies, Yellowstone & Tetons and Aspen – take guests out west to the beaches and rainforest of British Columbia, as far east as a traveler can go on the Atlantic coast to Fogo Island, and from sea level to the top of giant peaks in Colorado, Wyoming and Alberta. These new destinations feature award-winning Premiere hotels that are among the best in North America.

The new trips are incredible experiences closer to home without long-haul flights required. Each North American trip is unique, bringing small groups to less-traveled destinations with Backroads’ unparalleled comfort and trip design. The bucket-list lodging includes: Fogo Island Inn, Fishers’ Loft Inn, Long Beach Lodge Resort, Clayoquot Wilderness Resort, Bobbie Burns Lodge and Bugaboo Lodge, Hotel Jerome, Kimpton Armory Hotel, Sage Lodge and Hotel Jackson.

“We’ve heard from our guests how much they’ve enjoyed staying at some of the best hotels on the planet while traveling with Backroads to other continents,” said Tom Hale, Backroads President and Founder. “These new North American trips are in a league of their own, with adventurous activities and amazing hotels that reflect the character and style of their regions.”

Backroads New North America Trips – Late-Breaking Launches:
