Route notes

The walking and hiking routes in Namibia are primarily in a desert environment with rocky, sandy terrain that includes some fairly steep sand dune climbs. The routes in Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana mostly follow bush trails with rough dirt and exposed roots. Most routes are exposed to the sun and heat.

We will be flying by charter with Scenic Air Aviation and Mack Air aboard Cessna Caravan aircrafts that seat approximately 10-14 passengers. These single turboprop engine planes are widely used in Africa and across the globe due to their reliability and flexibility.
