Day 2 Admire views of the rolling Catskill Mountains as you bike around Ashokan Reservoir | Spin through secluded wooded forests and small towns | Linger over lunch in legendary Woodstock and explore the town's galleries, shops and cafés | Follow a secluded path on foot to the picturesque Saugerties Lighthouse, built in 1869.
Day 3 Get your day going with a coffee in charming Rhinebeck | Bike past the beautiful Vanderbilt mansion | Visit the FDR Museum filled with artifacts conveying the story of the Roosevelt era | Stop by the acclaimed Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park | Follow a section of the Dutchess Rail Trail to the Walkway Over the Hudson—the longest elevated pedestrian bridge in the world, rising 200 feet above the Hudson.
Days 4-5 Spin past farmland and quaint country villages at the base of the Shawangunk Mountains | Pay a visit to the historic 17th-century stone houses on Huguenot Street | Get to know the vibrant and energetic small college town of New Paltz and its charming Main Street dotted with boutiques and cafés | Ride along rolling hills sprinkled with apple trees, vineyards, flower gardens and posh homes | Take a final spin alongside the Hudson, feeling the warmth of the river air.
