You will pay in full for your Backroads vacation before you travel, and due to the many pre-paid commitments with our hotels and local suppliers, we adhere strictly to our cancellation policy.
In the unfortunate event you must cancel your trip, you will be responsible for any cancellation fees incurred, up to 100% of your trip price. A travel protection plan can help to protect your vacation investment of up to 100% of your Backroads trip cost for cancellation due to unforeseen covered reasons and is a small price for some peace of mind.
You may add this policy to your reservation anytime up to 10 days prior to your departure date. However, please note that to be eligible for some benefits, such as pre-existing medical conditions, you must purchase the travel protection policy within 21 days of your first trip payment.
