This spectacular family adventure explores two of Canada’s most stunning national parks. Come bike and hike in Banff and Jasper with our Trip Leaders, who are accredited Interpretive Guides and know these national parks intimately. Pedal past glaciers inching their way down the faces of mighty peaks, hike to lakes in crayon-box hues of deepest blue and vibrant green, and then take to the water on an easygoing raft trip to explore miles and miles of Canada’s breathtaking Rocky Mountains. Delight in abundant wildlife sightings - moose, elk, bighorn sheep, mountain goats - and have a great family camping adventure in this amazing wilderness.

Days 1-3 Lake Louise

Meet in Banff Ride past towering peaks, virgin forests and the blue-green water of the Bow River  Hike up to the Plain of Six Glaciers Teahouse  While eating lunch, enjoy amazing views of Mount Victoria from this incredible vantage point  Adults continue hiking while kids take in the sights from the Lake Louise Gondola and learn more about the area  Check out Crowfoot Glacier as you cruise along  Icefields Parkway in the shadow of the Continental Divide Along the way keep your eye on the forest for elk, bighorn sheep, mountain goats and black bears Pedal from Lake Louise, crossing the Continental Divide, to the shimmering waters of Waterfowl Lake.

Day 4 Banff National Park

In the heart of the Columbia Icefield, join certified mountain guides on an ice walk across the Athabasca Glacier   For a unique view of the wilderness near Jasper, enjoy a Class II raft trip on the Athabasca River  Our home for the next two nights is at the spacious Wapiti Campground, named for the elk or wapiti that roam the area.

Days 5-6 Jasper National Park

Adults pedal from stunning Maligne Lake, along the Maligne River, and explore the Maligne Canyon while kids try rock climbing with accredited instructors Walk in the Valley of the Five Lakes with views of Mount Edith Cavell Lake Four is a great place for a family swim  Shuttle back to Banff.
