Prince Edward Island

Prince Edward Island Biking

Among Seaside Farms in Eastern Canada

Canada’s smallest province is big on summer pleasures. The red-sand beaches and small inland farms of Prince Edward Island entice visitors to slow down and enjoy the charms of coastal Canada. Join Backroads to explore this enchanting island from every angle: bike over rolling hills and along the sweeping seashore, kayak in calm waters and discover the charms of Green Gables immortalized in L.M. Montgomery’s classic novel Anne of Green Gables. Superb cuisine is your reward for each day’s activities - try succulent fresh lobster and cultured blue mussels, for which the area is famous. Then settle into distinctive inns that capture the warm hospitality of this friendly maritime province.

Guest Trip Reviews

Everything went smoothly; well-organized but relaxed, with a good deal of autonomy for the bikers, yet support was present when needed. There was a perfect balance between scheduled rides/events and downtime, and the arrangements for meals, luggage and transport were so well organized as to be almost invisible.
