Days 1-2 Hike along a winding path through piñon and juniper forests in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains | Explore the historic center of Santa Fe, the nation’s oldest capital city, to learn about its unique blend of Anglo, Spanish and Native cultures | A local expert guides us to noteworthy architectural landmarks including the Santa Fe Plaza and San Miguel Mission, reputedly the oldest church in the United States | Unroll your yoga mat and find your flow | Check out contemporary Southwest art, including a private collection at our hotel | Explore on foot the rugged canyon and mesa country of Bandelier National Monument, where we encounter a number of Ancestral Pueblo cliff dwellings.

Days 3-4 Walk in the footsteps of world-renowned painter Georgia O’Keeffe as we visit her beloved Ghost Ranch, a remote location where she found fifty years of inspiration| Hike up to Chimney Rock for a fantastic view of the Piedra Lumbre basin | Balance your hiking adventure with a yoga session | Visit the expansive and otherworldly Plaza Blanca (White Place), a dramatic geologic formation in the Rio Chama hills featured in a series of paintings by the artist | Unwind in our secluded sanctuary in the heart of Taos, an eco-resort surrounded by towering cottonwood trees | Marvel at millennia-old Taos Pueblo, the largest of New Mexico’s pre-Hispanic settlements and a World Heritage site.

Days 5-6 Hike up to a lookout point in a gorgeous conifer forest where you can soak up the wild landscape | Visit the historic village of Chimayó, home of a revered church to which devout pilgrims travel from great distances, seeking the healing powers of the sacred earth | End this fantastic week with a yoga class, a calm stroll amid volcanic tuff or a leisurely morning at our luxurious hotel.
