We want to make sure you're on the trip that's right for you. Every Backroads trip is unique and this one is no exception.
Accommodations are rustic and prioritize location and proximity to natural wonders. Our glamping accommodation features spacious, canvas-walled safari-style platform tents that blend comfort with a sense of adventure. Each tent includes simple yet thoughtful touches—a king bed, small battery-operated fans and lamps, a wood stove, a USB charging pack and an en suite bathroom. The experience is off the grid, with no electricity, air conditioning, reliable Wi-Fi or cell service. With canvas walls and doors, sounds may carry from nearby tents and chirping crickets, so we suggest packing earplugs. Please download an itinerary for more details about this unique luxury camping experience.
The National Park Service limits the size of all groups in Yellowstone National Park. Accordingly, you’ll hike in small groups with Backroads leaders. Your leaders will provide pre-walk briefings, maps and directions. We appreciate your cooperation with the park’s regulations.
Yellowstone’s landscape is vast and as a result, this trip includes shuttles each day to allow us to cover the distance between the region’s highlights.
