Maybe you've thought in the past of doing a Private Trip but were daunted by the prospect of trying to organize a group vacation. Not to worry. Over the 30 years that Backroads has been planning guests' Private Trips, we've learned a thing or two you up for success as the organizers. We'll use our expertise and worldwide contacts to help you tailor the experience to the desires of your group. We'll even help you create a fun and compelling invitation, then get all the necessary information into the hands of your fellow travelers. And before you know it, everyone will be signed up for the trip of a lifetime.
The sooner you get the ball rolling on your Private Trip, the sooner we'll be able to reserve your date and start behind-the-scenes planning. Believe it or not, a year ahead isn't too early to start; so for a summer trip, the chats should begin as soon as you receive our catalog in the fall. And a point to keep in mind based on our experience: it's rare that a trip idea and date will be perfect for everyone on your list. So focus on the core group and select a date and destination that work for them; if the rest get on board, great. From there, we'll manage the sign-up process and all the details so you can relax and look forward to your trip.
