We zipped ourselves into countless sleeping bags to find the most comfortable and cozy. No matter where we camp - be it Washington's San Juan Islands or the coast of Maine - our equipment will keep you comfortable and carefree throughout your Backroads camping trip.
Dome Tents
Constructed of durable nylon, our sturdy three-season tent for two is generously sized, offering you plenty of room to stretch out as well as stash your gear. A mesh sky panel provides exceptional ventilation...not to mention a spectacular view of the stars! Tents based on double occupancy are provided free of charge. If you prefer a single tent, they can be rented for an additional charge of up to $100.
Sleeping Bags
Our sleeping bags feature synthetic Polarguard 3D® insulation and a wind- and water-repellent nylon shell. An insulated collar with draw cord keeps you cozy below the shoulders and comfortable all night long.
Portable Chairs
We think we have the best camp chairs around. Sturdy, well designed and above all, comfortable, they're constructed using high-strength marine alloy for the frame and a double layer of fabric for the seat. The finishing touch is a comfortable suspended back support. So pull up a chair and join us at the campfire!
Your Trip Leaders
To make it even better, every Deluxe Family Camping trip has two to five Trip Leaders, plus a Camp Chef and Assistant. They handle the tents and camp chores, and perform culinary magic, creating everything from broiled salmon and roast chicken to fresh salads and rich desserts.
