Guest Trip Reviews

This was my second Backroads trip and though I was impressed with the number of other guests that had done 2-4 Backroads trips, I was reminded of how it is that your company develops such a loyal fan base. The trip was absolutely fantastic, as were the leaders and the camp assistant. And I appreciated the fact that we found "backroads" in an area with lots of visitors and tourists! I will look forward to another Backroads trip in the future.
Tracy Prall - San Francisco, CA

Having never been to the Glacier area prior to this trip, I had my fear of camping in "bear country" alleviated by the wonderful staff and equipment. We had tried to plan our own Glacier trip. It was overwhelming to us. Backroads offered us the "high points" (pardon the pun) and whetted our appetites for the region. What a wonderful worry-free camping vacation.
Trudy Maves - Alanson, MI

This was definitely one of my best vacations ever. As a single woman who loves the outdoors, I often have a hard time finding people to travel with, especially on an active trip like this. The solo trip was the PERFECT way for me to travel alone and do what I love to do while meeting some great people to share it all with!
Jill Badgett - Lexington, KY

We had a great time! Glacier and Waterton are truly wonderful parks. As we anticipated, camping was more fun than the casual inn trip, and rewarding in terms of getting to know the other participants and the leaders on the trip. Our group bonded readily and was quiet only during the last lunch, perhaps because we weren't ready for the trip to be over. The rhythm of activity - bicycling one day, hiking the next, finishing with river rafting worked particularly well. The campgrounds just got better and better, with the particularly spectacular and unique camping experience at the private Blackfeet campground. All together this was a memorable trip.
