Such epic scenery is made all the more special when shared with new friends! Venture into the geologic labyrinth of Bryce Canyon. Gaze in awe at the Grand Canyon's immensity and descend into its depths on an exhilarating hike. In Zion, spin on vibrant red roads and walk beneath soaring rock faces. Come evening, kick back at campsites perched on canyon rims and under the cool canopy of towering pines. "Fantastic" doesn't begin to describe how you feel.

Guests Reviews About This Trip

Had one of the BEST vacations of my life! Saw amazing sites, did amazing things. The physical aspects of the trip pushed me just enough. I did things I never thought I could, like climb to the top of Angel's Landing in Zion National Park. The guides were tremendous - very helpful, great preparation, evaluated everyone well. It was hard to come home. Thanks for a great getaway!

Are You Getting the Whole Scoop?

Choose your travel company carefully. Having the right information to make a good decision isn’t always a given, and this applies in spades to travel. Are you getting straight answers? You certainly can’t trust all those "Best of" travel awards given out like candy (even though we’ve won plenty). When things go wrong it’s often because of what wasn’t said. You have to fully commit before you sample the wares, and it’s not as if you can truly be reimbursed if all goes wrong; that was a week of your life— not exactly "refundable." Do yourself a favor and ask the right questions before you’re on a plane to Paris.

"One of the principal reasons we vacation
with Backroads is that
we could never come up
with the quality of the accommodations, dining, or general experience if we tried to book the trip on our own - and it's kinda nice to have the leaders fussing over us."
