Days 1-2 San Gimignano

Rendezvous in Florence Head out by bike through the pastoral Elsa Valley  Kids can saddle up for a thrilling horseback ride outside San Gimignano  Pedal country roads en route to Volterra, known for its fine alabaster  In the World Heritage site of San Gimignano, climb one of the city’s renowned 12th- and 13th-century stone towers, check out the medieval cistern (which still works!) and treat yourself to a tasty gelato in the historic town center.

Day 3 Monteriggioni

Pedal through stunning countryside to the hilltop town of Casole d’Elsa and enjoy the magnificent panoramas while enjoying lunch on your own at a local café  Linger over a cappuccino espresso in Monteriggioni, best known for its 14 towers that Dante once compared to gigantic Titans.

Days 4-6 Vagliagli

Ride through rolling Chianti hills, stopping at the wine-laden sleepy estate of Lilliano, as you make your way from Monteriggioni to Vagliagli  Kids get to play chef while parents enjoy a wine tasting  Kids try their hand at ceramics at a studio in Radda  Embark on a final walking tour through Siena with a local guide.
