Dordogne Biking Tour

Dordogne River Valley Biking

Prehistoric Art & Palatial Accommodations

Discover the Dordogne and Lot Valleys, extraordinary regions of France where castles dot the countryside and prehistory is captured in 35,000-year-old painted caves. Journey with us through farmland to medieval villages and across valleys carved by famous rivers. Get to know traditional French culture reflected in the eyes of sheepherders, walnut farmers and foie gras producers. Pedal along easy-flowing rivers, up forested hills, past fields of wheat and through dramatically perched towns. Along the way, we invite you to discover French markets, savor renowned Périgord gastronomy and unwind at world-class retreats.

Guest Trip Reviews

The trip exceeded my expectations in so many ways. The bicycle routes were fantastic: true "back roads" of France. What a wonderful way to see the countryside. We never could have had that experience in any other sort of vacation environment.
