Bike & Camp in Banff & Jasper National Parks
Join Backroads and follow the spectacular Icefields Parkway from Banff to Jasper. "With an average elevation of 5,100 feet, the parkway is one of Canada's highest roads, a highway strung from the stars," reported National Geographic Traveler. "It winds northwest through Banff and Jasper National Parks, along the shadow of the Continental Divide, past more than a hundred glaciers, dozens of waterfalls, and beneath mountain ranges swooping up on both sides of the highway as if the entire place were preparing to take flight. It is the kind of scenery that turns the windshield of a car into a picture postcard." Imagine how much more splendid the view is from the seat of your bicycle.
