Here's how the Backroads Honeymoon Registry works: Once a Backroads trip is selected--for a honeymoon or as a getaway for a later date--the bride and groom call Backroads to make the reservation. A deposit of $500 per person is required at that time. They then invite family and friends to contribute toward their dream vacation.
Contributors to the Honeymoon Registry receive a gift card to present to the engaged couple. The couple will also receive a certificate acknowledging the contribution. The week of the trip, Backroads provides the bride and groom a list of all gift givers and their contributions.
