We'll taste world-class vintages at acclaimed wineries, sip excellent local microbrews, and indulge in superb dining, from a gourmet farm-to-table dinner to trendy food cart fare to our famed camp cuisine.

Sure, we rave about our amazing destinations and activities. But a great vacation isn't just about where you go. It's about who you share the experience with. Getting out there and exploring the world is so much more FUN when you're enjoying the camaraderie of other interesting, engaging, adventurous and inquisitive folks! So come join the friendliest cycling group around—and take part in the rolling party of the year!
DAYS 1-2 Pedal hard or stop along the way in Napa Valley, where wine tasting ops abound  Hang out in Healdsburg or Calistoga Mix, mingle and perfect your swirl at a fun, informal tasting of local vintages back at camp—ten glorious acres of seclusion in Sonoma The night is young! Anyone up for some live music?
DAY 3 Wake to fresh brewed coffee and the promise of stellar biking in the Russian River Valley Spinning leisurely or going all out with new riding buddies, you'll find this trip is just your speed Stop to sniff the flowers—and the pinot noir—at friendly Twomey Cellars It'll be quite a picnic among the giants at Armstrong Redwoods State Reserve! Hitch a hayride to our post-dinner bonfire, where libations and local entertainment await.
DAY 4 A big climb offers a big payoff: epic views of Bodega Bay Roll through rugged headlands to old-time Occidental, with its lively shops, bohemian vibe and superb lunch spots Back at the ranch, enjoy activities galore—who's up for horseback riding, hiking or kayaking? Get to know your fellow adventurers over local brews and gourmet cuisine served al fresco Get ready to do-si-do. That's right—square dancing's on the menu tonight!
DAYS 5-6 Fuel up with oysters or steaming clam chowder as you cruise down the coast Toast new friends at a farm-to-table dinner, before a local band keeps us dancing into the night Then spin across the Golden Gate Bridge into San Francisco At Crissy Field, with stellar vistas in all directions, grab a bite to eat from one of the hip gourmet food carts here and linger over goodbyes It's a week you won't soon forget!

Effortless Camping
Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned veteran, we think you'll agree that our deluxe camping experience is the ultimate in outdoor living! Spending time outside encourages a great group dynamic, and the ease of Backroads-style camping inspires simple pleasures. Many a friendship made on a Backroads camping trip has endured well beyond the last campfire.
Just imagine pedaling into your scenic campsite at the end of an active day. A refreshing drink awaits, as does your camp home—a roomy dome tent already set up, with your plush sleeping bag unrolled on top of an extra-thick sleeping pad, and your personal luggage in place. Always delectable, Backroads' gourmet camping meals are legendary—and there's no need to dress up for dinner. (Nothing wrong with some festive attire though!)
Later, spend time around the campfire, go for a moonlight stroll or stay up for music and dancing. Then ease into sleep beneath a star-filled sky. In the morning, wake to the fragrance of just-brewed coffee and French toast…Who says that camping means roughing it?
